PB Administration bringing the Micro MBA to Zimbabwe

The Micro MBA has been doing the rounds around Southern Africa, but has somehow not made it into Zimbabwe. With the country in an economic meltdown, the country was left behind, while the Micro MBA made an impact in many country surrounding Zimbabwe. PB Administration is now brining the micro mba to Zimbabwe. This course has changed the lives of more than 160 000 people since 1998 and has received much positive feedback. It has been shown that entrepreneurs who go through this course are more succesful than their counterparts who don’t. As Zimbabwe goes through a rebuilding phase, this is the most ideal time to introduce the course.

Our research has shown a willingness and an eagerness to particpate in this training programme. Many of the business people we spoke to brought up the issue that they did not have anyone to turn to for business support. The mentorship part of the programme appealed to many of the people as they saw the need and benefit of having a mentor walking alongside them.

¨Takes the burden off employers by offering micro mba to family members. ¨No previous qualifications required ¨Certificates given, Seta Level 1 (South Africa) ¨Available in Shona. ¨Conducted in  local areas. ¨Affordable

One week of classroom tuition where 8 modules are taught.

3 months of mentorship where a mentor will be available to you to walk with you.

The best part of this course is that a mentor is available to all students. It is often difficult to apply what has been learnt, but meeting with a mentor regularly to monitor and check progress, makes the transition smoother. Starting a business is not a bed of roses and having someone to navigate those waters with you is helpful.

These are the modules taught during your week of tuition

  1. ¨  Market Investigation
  2. ¨  Using a calculator for business
  3. ¨  Buying
  4. ¨  Costing and Pricing
  5. ¨  Selling
  6. ¨  Writing a business plan
  7. ¨  Money Management
  8. ¨  Stock Control

We are excited and look forward to contribute to the development of Zimbabwe. This course will change the lives of many and we are excited to be involved.
