You can’t keep a good man down

May 30, 2012 1 comment
Matt has Spastic Cerebral Palsy, but opted to run in Field Day at Colonial Hills Elementary School despite being given the option to sit it out and despite the incredible challenge of his disability. What transpires is a boy who is filled with determination and a school of children who spontaneously come together and inspire Matt and everyone of us to do and be better.
If you have been making excuses because of your situation, be inspired. There is no need to sit by the sidelines. Join the race, dont look back and dont give up. Heaps of praise go to the class mates who encourgaed Mike to run and didn’t sit by sidelines geering at him. What a great group of kids. I can imagine in my days in junior school, kids would have been poking fun at him.
so if the Presidential scholarship or the bank manager or the boss has been doing your head in, hold  your head up high and run the race, just like Mike chose to.
