Cashbert Dube, salary reduced by US190 000

“Just because US$230,000 was outrageous does not make a salary of US$60,000 a month acceptable. If a Goverment Minister can earn US$3400 per month including allowances (which was my last take home pay check as Minister in August last year) then how possibly can any CEO justify a figure of US$60,000 per month?” David Coltart
A monthly salary of US$230 000 Premier Service Medical Aid Society (Psmas) CEO Cuthbert Dube could afford any of these:
-500 teachers every month (at US$500 each);
-Purchase 57 Toyota Vitz/Honda Fits every month (US$4 000 from Japan)
-Pay for 75 000 soccer fans at the National Sports Stadium at US$3 each
-Buy 10 houses in Harare’s high-density suburbs at US$23 000 each.

Now with a reduced salary of US60 000 a month, his budget is a little bit tight:-) He can now pay for:
– He can now pay 120 teachers every month (at US$500 each);
-Purchase15 Toyota Vitz/Honda Fits every month (US$4 000 from Japan)
-Pay for 20 000 soccer fans at the National Sports Stadium at US$3 each
-Buy almost 3 houses in Harare’s high-density suburbs at US$23 000 each.

What a sad day in the Dube household. Oh by the way, h is apparently supposed to be a philanthropist, having spent a lot of his earning on ZIFA. Maybe that is why they have kept his salary high.
